International Container Terminal Services, Inc. (ICTSI) has always had the safety of its employees and clients as top priorities. With strict health and safety protocols in place, the Manila International Container Terminal (MICT) remains open in a COVID-19-free environment.
News going around in social media about construction workers who are allegedly COVID positive are not ICTSI/MICT employees. These belong to workers of a contractor, who have not been within the MICT premises since March 17. While we sympathize with these workers and with the contractor, we have nevertheless asked the contractor to implement their own employee safety protocols as they will not be allowed to re-enter the MICT until a clean bill of health is received.
